These terms cover your use of joeytrades.com. They are written to be read, not to be impenetrable. If you disagree with them, the remedy is to stop using the site.

I am not a financial adviser and I hold no licenses. Nothing on this site is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold anything, and nothing here is a claim about what you should do with your money.
Reading this site does not create an advisory, fiduciary, brokerage, or professional relationship of any kind between us. I do not know your finances, your obligations, or your risk tolerance, and nothing published here has been tailored to them. If you need advice, get it from someone licensed to give it.
What the site actually is
A record of my own trading, published in public with the dollars included, alongside writing about how I think and video of me trading. It exists because a track record kept honestly is more useful than a claim, and because I would rather be judged on it than on a pitch.
The numbers come from my own brokerage records and are rebuilt from a database by a script on every update. I try hard to make them exact. I do not guarantee they are free of error, and a mistake in my favor is still a mistake — if you find one, email me and I will correct it in public.
Trading loses money
Trading and investing carry a real risk of loss, including the loss of your entire position. Past performance does not predict future results, and that applies to my published record as much as to anyone else’s. Periods of gain shown here are not a promise, a projection, or a typical result.
Anything I say about a position is what I thought at that moment, with the information I had. Positions change, often the same day, and I am under no obligation to update anything after it is published.
The video
Streams and their recordings are me thinking out loud while I trade. They are unscripted and unedited, positions stated on air are what I held at that moment, and none of it is a recommendation. Video is hosted by YouTube and subject to YouTube’s terms as well as these.
Education sessions
If you arrange education sessions with me, those are governed by the separate education agreement you sign, which controls if it conflicts with anything here.
The content is mine
The writing, code, charts, and video on this site are my own work and remain my copyright. Quote it, link it, and criticize it freely with attribution. Do not republish it wholesale or pass it off as yours.
No warranty, and limits on liability
The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. I do not guarantee it will be accurate, current, complete, or available.
To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from any decision you make after reading it. Your trading decisions are yours. That is not a disclaimer trick; it is the actual nature of the thing.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee, and you and I each consent to that venue.
Changes
These terms may change, and the effective date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
